Xbox One S & Kinnect Sensor

I was lucky enough to be given an Xbox One S for Christmas so that we could play 4K content. We disconnected the old one and started to plug all the cables into to the new one until it came to plugging in the old Xbox One Kinnect sensor, only to find there is no connection.

A quick search online showed prices for an adapter from £45-75. Oh dear.

Then we came across an online forum post that suggested you could get an adapter free from Microsoft. You go online and enter the serial numbers for your Xbox One, Xbox One S and the Kinnect sensor and Microsoft will ship an adapter to you. Great.
